Bajo el nombre de J. MANN se esconde Jordan Mitchell, un canadiense afincado en Barcelona, y "Too much theatre' es su quinto álbum. Jordan fue también voz y guitarra de THE CUSTOMERS. Aquí nos presenta 13 canciones de folk-pop de bastantes quilates, y en el que además de su emocionante voz y el brillante sonido de su guitarra acústica, se hace acompañar en ocasiones de batería y hasta de un casio. Su voz y el aire que le da a sus canciones me recuerda mucho a grupos como I AM KLOOT o a unos FIEL GARVIE en clave acústica, sin olvidar a clásicos como BOB DYLAN. Estamos ante trece emocionantes canciones de folk desnudo pero de gran calidad y con una enorme capacidad de transmisión de sensaciones, que es lo que distingue a un grupo de folk aburrido y lineal de uno con canciones, como es este caso. Here he presents us 13 songs of folk-pop worth a number of carats, and on top of his exciting voice and brilliant sound of his acoustic guitar, he is also accompanied from time to time with a drum and even a Casio. His voice and the air that it gives to the songs reminds me a lot of groups such as I AM KLOOT or to some extent FIEL GARVIE in the acoustics, without forgetting classics like BOB DYLAN. Before us, we have thirteen exciting songs of naked folk but of great quality with an enormous sensation of broadcast capacity.
