March 2009 - After pent-up demand (expressed through various Excel worksheets), J. Mann will play a show in London, Ontario at The Wave, University Community Centre (UCC), UWO on March 20th. The benefit is for the Step by Step Africa to help fund HIV tests and treatment in Northern Ghana. |

March 2007 - J. Mann filmed his latest video for the song, This City is a Movie Set, with Miranda Jelicié in the famed neighbourhood called "El Born." Locals say, "roda al mon i torna al born," meaning "go around the world and return to the Born." Check it out on the videos page.

Mann and Polandsonora, the line-up will include Borja Duñó (ex-Tuesday Afternoon), Guillamino, David Brown (Brazzaville) and Steven Munar (ex-Tea Servants).

January 2005 - J. Mann has started recording a yet-to-be-named sixth album in a small Barcelona studio. He's asked his former bandmates from The Customers to lend a helping hand with some of the instruments - some onlookers feel the process of recording could be upwards to sixth months. "Strummer" which appeared as an acoustic song on the Zunior Holiday album will appear in more of a band form. Look out for the uncharacteristic song, "Wellington works on mathematical calculations."

November 2004 - After two years of rocking the Barcelona music scene, The Customers (the band that J. Mann sang in) have closed down shop. They will all continue to make music in one form or another.

October 2004 - J. Mann's 2002 release "Walk Left, Stand Right" (with cover art) can be had now through Canada's first pay-for-download indie cooperative Zunior (www.zunior.com). Zunior began in October of 2004 and is the brainchild of Dave Ullrich - one-half of Canada's best duo of all-time, The Inbreds. Fittingly, the other half, Mike O'Neill put out a Zunior-only release full-length album entitled, The Owl, which is a must-have masterpiece!

Time: 10pm Sunday, May 23rd, 2004 - Staircase Theatre – Hamilton, ON. Four acts take to the stage as part of the first "Acoustic Insanity Sundays" Showcase. Other musicians include jOeY Balducchi, Greyham Peaceful and Mark Raymond.
